In 1994, when pogs and slammers were at the height of their popularity, Jack received an Amiga 500 with a copy of Deluxe Paint IV. He developed a love for digital media and was soon making animations that impressed both his family and friends.

 

In his junior year of high school Jack got on a plane to Georgia and took summer courses at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It was there that he decided to go to art school instead of becoming an engineer. Three years later he graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA and an “almost minor” in classical archeology.

 

Mr.Zaloga currently resides in Detroit, Michigan working as a freelance illustrator and multimedia designer, traveling, and writing about himself in third person.
